A first scan on my new piece, I've done more since, but sadly havent scanned it. Yes I must confess, I asked what fan art people would like to see, and I'll keep to my word, but another character caught my eye.

Might know him as Sylar, so I could claim he's Heroes fan art, but as I'm drawing him, hes taken on a slightly different role... Yes thats right, a new Mr Spock. And What a fantastic one at that!

Zachary Quinto, done in pencils on my new Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook paper A3 size. A practice piece for the new attributes of the paper, but a fan-art one at that :)

Edit: added newer scan, so yey eyebrows! but also I've noticed how the left eye is a bit of an off angle, and have thus sorted it :) Looks much better now! *continues drawing*

I just love the new movie and can't wait to see this finished! Spock is my favorite character. Great job so far!

Heh ty, he's coming along rather well, though the hairs gonna be hard to make 'interesting' as such.

This is beautiful, but i'm sad you're drawing him as Spock...why couldn't you have drawn him as HAWT Sylar! :( :(

Haha, aye. <3 for Zachary and Spock in general, so its a win-win situation.

Spent another couple of ours on his hair tonight :D shall have to re-scan in the morning!

Currently only graphite pencils. But his hair is so severe and dark that I might be tempted to use some black ink for the darkest areas...
