He just doesn't get them.

But he thinks they'll regret them.

He tends not to go to rock concerts
Cos he can't stand the crowd...

My digital portrait of Tim Minchin. Comedian, pianist, writer, composer.. all round genious, thus I had to draw him.

If you havent heard his songs, and arnt easily offended, then what are you waiting for? Go youtube him!

*Admits I had his songs on loop for the 10 hours I was drawing... Least I can do is buy his album! Which I shall do so!*

General brushes within photoshop using a Wacom tablet. Using a bad quality reference image as little as possible.

But it just can't be helped
He has nothing interesting to say
So he writes about himself
But he doesn't want to seem self obsessed
So he writes in third person
In an attempt to seem more rock 'n' roll
But he suspects it's not working...

This is fantastic, my only criticism would be that it looks quite 'fluffy'. I think when you paint in photoshop it is worth experimenting with textured brushes to add grain. If you throw a bit of odd speckles here and there it adds to the realism, if that's what you're going for, that it! But love this guy, and love your render of him........ '10 foot cock and a few hundred virgins' cracks me up!

Haha! aye love his songs, if you can call them songs!

And agreed, I might rework him, I was fairly new to the whole 'tablet' thing when I drew him. And photoshop as a whole.

Also having changed hard drives I've lost all my texture brushes D: so I think I'll finish my pencil drawings first ^^

I love your pencil stuff. I also love pencil drawings, as a medium it's so much easier to control than paint. I have a wacom cintiq too as I love digital art.
